Looking Ahead

The Bishop’s Certificate course continues on Monday 30 April.

Friends of Stoke Minster AGM takes place on Wednesday 2 May at 7.30 pm.

The Archbishops’ initiative ‘Thy Kingdom Come‘ – running from Ascension Day 10th May to Pentecost Sunday 20th May includes an ecumenical service at Longton Central Hall on Sunday 13th in the evening. The Bishop of Lichfield will be joining us at Stoke Minster that day at 10.30 am. On 20th May the Minster will be hosting a culminating service of prayer and praise at 6.30 pm – refreshments from 6.00 pm.

The Summer Fayre takes place on Saturday 30th June from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. If you would like to assist with a stall please speak to our assistant wardens, Paul Adams and Fiona Fowler.

Other Notices

Tickets for this year’s Encourage Festival are on sale at a discounted rate until Easter. The festival takes place at Shallowford House, near Stone, on Saturday 7 July. Details at www.lichfield.anglican.org/encouragefestival/
