Evening Prayer each weekday from Tuesday to Friday is said at 5.15 pm.

Bell practice on Tuesday at 7.45 pm.

Holy Communion on Wednesday at 10.30 am.  Coffee/tea available afterwards from 11.15 am.

Choir Practice is on Thursday at 7.00 pm.

This Sunday

Sunday 16th December is the 3rd Sunday of Advent. Services at Stoke Minster at 8.00 am and 10.30 am (All Age). Church Office at 12.30 pm. The Christmas Carol Service is at 6.00 pm.

Next Week

Royal Stoke University Hospital is inviting carol singers to join together at the Prayer Centre (meet 5.30 pm to leave at 6 pm) on Monday 17th. The chaplains’ office can be contacted on 01782 676400 for more details.

The Ceramic City Choir is hosting its Christmas concert in the Minster on Tuesday evening (18th) – so no bell practice this evening.

Faith in the Village – at West End Village – meets for its Christmas service on Thursday 20th at 11.00 am. All are welcome.

Choir Practice is on Thursday at 7.00 pm.

Christingle Preparation – on Friday afternoon from 2.00 pm -in readiness for our family service on Christmas Eve.

Looking Ahead

There is a Young Seekers Christmas party on Christmas Eve (24th) from 3.00 pm. At 5.00 pm, we are holding our Minster Christingle service for all the family. Midnight Mass on Christmas Night is at 11.30 am. There are services on Christmas Day at 8.00 am and at 10.30 am.

Please note that there is no service at Stoke Minster on Boxing Day 26 December.

Churches from across the City are gathering to celebrate New Year and the Epiphany at Swan Bank Methodist Church on Sunday 6th January at 6.15 pm. Speak to Fr Andrew if you’re interested in attending.

Churches Together will be holding a Unity Service at West End Methodist Church (London Road, ST4 5AW) on Friday 25th January 2019 at 7.30 pm. The preacher will be Rev. Howard Jones (Baptist minister).

Other Notices

Saltbox is working in partnership with The Co-operative Bank to encourage donations for homeless individuals across North Staffordshire. This December you can fill up a sock with essential items (including toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, gloves and deodorant) and then drop them off at either the Co-operative Hanley branch (2 Town Road) or Newcastle-under-Lyme branch (31 High Street).
